What happens during a colonic treatment?
During the session you lay on your back on a customised treatment table in complete comfort. Most clothing will be kept on and you will be draped, to ensure modesty.
Because the "LIBBE" Colonic Equipment is an "open system", only a small tube is used. It is gently and easily inserted just 2 - 3 inches into the rectum.
Once the tube is inserted, you do not need to get up and use the bathroom, you are to relax and rest. When releasing, the water flows out, around the rectal tube carrying with it impacted, dehydrated, mucous and parasitic faecal matter. It then passes through a two inch clear viewing tube and down into the sewer.
The pressure, temperature, and flow of water can all be regulated throughout the procedure. The Therapist is there to guide and support the client through the procedure and sessions may be accompanied by abdominal massage.
